Miami Man Uses Rejection Letter as Motivation to Start Over, Will Open Window Genie Franchise this August

Joe Schlipman is done with working for someone else. After experiencing multiple layoffs in the travel industry, he is now his own boss.

MIAMI, FL (PRWEB) August 11, 2016 - Window Genie announces the grand opening of its newest location in Miami on August 22nd. Window Genie is a national home service franchise specializing in residential and light commercial window cleaning, window tinting, pressure washing, gutter cleaning and more. Joe Schlipman is the owner. Window Genie of Miami will serve the greater Miami area from Palmetto Bay to Coral Gables.

Before purchasing his window cleaning franchise, Schlipman spent 13 years in the cruise line industry before being laid off in 2013. After falling victim to another downsizing in the following 3 years, Schlipman submitted what would be his last job application. After receiving a rejection letter for the job he felt he was overqualified for, he decided it was time to take control of his own success and leave the corporate world for good. He said, “I hung that rejection letter in my office to remind me why it was time to make a change. I became more motivated than ever to pursue business ownership. The desire to be my own boss and be in control of my lifestyle, fulfilment and success pushed me to take the leap.”

Working with Jose Torres, franchise consultant with FranNet, Schlipman was able to determine which opportunities best suited his interests, goals, strengths and weaknesses. “I wasn’t initially interested in franchising,” Schlipman said. “I was actually dead set on buying an existing business, but after Jose and I discussed every option, franchising became the clear choice. I’m joining a team of experts with 22 years of success in the business.”
