PizzaRev Announces Texas Expansion Plans

August 23, 2016 // Franchising.com // LOS ANGELES, CA – PizzaRev®, a fast casual Craft Your Own™ pizza concept, intends to develop both franchised and corporate stores in the Austin and San Antonio markets, building on the success of the company’s first Texas location in Round Rock. Company executives seek experienced multi-unit restaurant operators to join them in the brand's growth in these markets.

“After identifying a strong demand for healthier, faster dining options throughout greater Austin and San Antonio, the markets have been chosen as a priority for development,” said Irv Zuckerman, co-CEO of PizzaRev. “We’re seeking experienced restaurateurs who are eager to seize the opportunity to bring a revolutionary pizza experience to the Austin and San Antonio markets.”

There are more than 200 PizzaRev locations in various stages of development across the country. The brand currently operates 43 corporate and franchise locations throughout California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Mexico.

PizzaRev continues to expand in the U.S. and internationally with support from partner Buffalo Wild Wings Inc., who in 2013 announced an equity-investment in PizzaRev and announced an increase in their stake in 2014. The award-winning concept has been named one of the “10 Brands to Watch” by CNBC and has ranked in the Fast Casual “Top 100 Movers and Shakers” for three straight years. Most recently, Restaurant Business ranked PizzaRev #7 in the ‘Future 50’ chains with the potential to take on the big brands.
