uBreakiFix Opens New Costa Mesa Location; Reliable Tech Repair Options Expand In Orange County

Fast-Growing Technology Repair Brand Emphasizes Focus on Customer Service and Affordable Device Repair

The growing technology repair company has more than 230 stores across North America and offers repair services for all brands of smartphones, tablets, computers and game consoles. The Costa Mesa location is owned and operated by John Valenti, Bill O'Brien and Rob O'Brien. They plan to open nine more locations in the next three years, with the goal of creating a lasting impact in the communities they are a part of. Valenti has a background in the corporate industry, but his passion lies in connecting his businesses with local outreach opportunities.

“We plan to fill a need through tech repair and we want to be involved here in the Costa Mesa community,” said Valenti, a native of the area. “We hope to be a resource for local organizations and the school systems by providing ways to help them reach the community and further the good they are doing in our area.”

The increasing cost of devices has made technology replacement difficult and expensive, which motivated savvy millennial duo Justin Wetherill and David Reiff to provide another option. uBreakiFix was founded in 2009 and the pair later partnered with Eddie Trujillo to offer a brick and mortar tech repair option that was quick, affordable and most importantly, provided a quality customer experience.

“We want to build trust with our customers by taking the traumatic experience of damaged devices and making the repair process simple,” said uBreakiFix founder Justin Wetherill. “As we expand into Costa Mesa, we want the community to know there are options beyond replacement, and uBreakiFix is here to provide them with a trusted alternative.”

uBreakiFix opened 51 stores during the first and second quarters of 2016 and expects to have 275 stores across North America by the end of the year.
