North Carolina’s Rise Biscuits Donuts To Open Franchise Locations In Maryland

November 08, 2016 // Franchising.com // Durham, NC - Rise Biscuits Donuts, Durham, NC’s award-winning fast casual concept featuring both sweet and savory breakfast and lunch options, announced a multi-unit franchise deal for parts of Maryland that include Silver Spring, Rockville, Towson and Baltimore.  The quickly growing franchise, named a Fast Casual Magazine Top 100 Movers and Shakers in 2016, is expanding through franchise deals and corporate growth.

The new franchisees have committed to opening at least five Rise Biscuits Donuts units in their territory, with the first expected to open in 2017.

“We quickly realized when meeting the Rise team that we share similar business philosophies” said franchise owner Fran Kirley. “We look forward to introducing Maryland to Rise’s handmade biscuits and donuts centered on a customer focused service model. We expect long lines and big smiles,” Kirley concluded.

Rise Biscuits Donuts currently has eight stores open in North Carolina with franchise deals signed in eight other states and plans to continue franchising across the country.

Rise offers a crave-worthy menu of fresh-made specialty biscuits and donuts with unique flavor varieties. The brand partnered with Fransmart as an exclusive franchise development partner in 2014, and currently has 70+ new locations in development.
