November 17, 2016 // Franchising.com // IRVINE, California – Wienerschnitzel, home of America’s favorite hot dog, has opened its newest location in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the fifth location in the city and the first featuring the brand’s Heritage build, showcasing a contemporary look along with elements inspired by Wienerschnitzel’s original A-frame design which debuted in the early 60s. The first Heritage model opened in El Paso, Texas, in 2015.
Located in the West Bluff community, Wienerschnitzel will serve its entire menu of favorites including a variety of hot dogs, chili dogs, chili cheese fries and Tastee Freez soft serve treats.

Albritton, who has been with the brand for more than 20 years, will oversee day-to-day operations and lead a team of more than 30 employees.
