Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Bannockburn Location

Franchise owner Kevin Cavanaugh held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, November 16 to Sunday, November 20 to support the Deerfield High School winter sports teams.

The new restaurant, located at 2565 Waukegan Road, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 donation to the Deerfield High School athletic department.

“We are excited to bring the Jersey Mike’s brand to the Deerfield/Bannockburn community,” said Cavanaugh. “We look forward to working with Deerfield High School and any local business that wants to bring our high-quality sandwiches to the students, employees, children, and residents of the area.”

Cavanaugh is a disabled Marine Corps veteran who has partnered with Jersey Mike’s to open stores that employ as many veterans as possible. Including Cavanaugh, the Bannockburn store will have at least 4 employees who are war-time veterans.
