Dunkin’ Donuts is Brewing Joy for the Holidays with Local Hot Coffee Promotion and Return of “DDCoffeeJoy”

For one weekday between December 12 through 23, nearly 30 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants somewhere in the U.S. will offer guests free medium hot coffees.

Make the holidays extra joyful with #DDCoffeeJoySweepstakes Instagram photo and video sweepstakes and special seasonal offers on Packaged Coffee and K-Cup® pods.

December 06, 2016 // Franchising.com // CANTON, MA - With the holidays fast approaching, Dunkin’ Donuts is brewing a little extra joy for its guests and communities throughout the busy weeks ahead, serving up its signature hot coffee for free at select Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants across the country. To celebrate the joy and warmth of the season, for one weekday between Monday, December 12 and Friday, December 23, nearly 30 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants somewhere in the U.S. will offer 500 guests a free medium hot coffee, served in the brand’s festive holiday cups featuring the word “JOY” (timing varies by location).

Additionally, in each market where a Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant is serving free coffee, the brand will donate $1,000 to a local organization aligned with the Joy in Childhood Foundation’s mission to bring joy to children whose lives are affected by health issues or hunger. Through the generosity of Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins franchisees, employees, vendors and guests, the Joy in Childhood Foundation raises funds to support partnerships with children’s hospitals, food banks, and nonprofit organizations directly committed to serving sick and hungry kids. In total, Dunkin’ Donuts will donate $15,000 in December as part of the “Brewing Joy” program.

The program begins in Chicago on December 12 with the first two Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants that will be “Brewing Joy.” Guests can follow the Dunkin’ Donuts blog for updates on participating restaurants and dates where guests can keep energized with a free medium hot coffee.

Dunkin’ Donuts is also spreading joy throughout the holiday season with its #DDCoffeeJoySweepstakes photo and video sweepstakes. Beginning today, December 5, and continuing through December 23, each week Dunkin’ Donuts will provide a new holiday topic or activity, with the challenge for fans to post a photo or video to Instagram using the hashtag #DDCoffeeJoySweepstakes, showing how Dunkin’ coffee plays a part in this holiday activity. A new theme will be presented each week, with this first week’s theme being “pretty lights.” Each week, five entrants will receive a month’s supply of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee, and one grand prize winner will receive a year’s worth of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee. No purchase necessary, legal U.S. residents, 18+. Void where prohibited. For additional terms and conditions related to Dunkin’ Donuts’ #DDCoffeeJoySweepstakes, visit www.ddsweeps.com.

Additionally, Dunkin’ Donuts has two sensational seasonal offers to make holiday time at home especially joyful with Dunkin’ coffee. Dunkin’ Donuts’ packaged coffee is now available at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants nationwide for the special price of three pounds for $19.99*.  Dunkin’ Donuts is also offering its entire lineup of K-Cup® pods for the special price of two boxes for $15.99*. Both offers are available at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants nationwide for a limited time.

Finally, Dunkin’ Donuts is celebrating the joy of the holiday season with its festive lineup of coffee, latte, macchiato and donut flavors. New this holiday season is Dunkin’ Donuts’ Crème Brulée macchiatos, lattes and coffees, featuring the rich and creamy taste of crème brulée with a deep, caramelized sugar finish. Additional coffee choices to keep people dashing through their day include returning holiday classic Peppermint Mocha, combining cool peppermint flavor with rich chocolate; and Salted Caramel, just introduced at the beginning of fall, offering sweet and salty flavor in every delicious sip.

To pair perfectly with the holiday beverages, Dunkin’ Donuts has debuted its new Candy Cane Crunch Donut, which is a yeast donut with vanilla flavored buttercreme filling, topped with white icing and crushed candy cane pieces. For another sweet holiday treat that is a deluxe take on a classic favorite, the new Boston Kreme Croissant Donut is a glazed croissant donut filled with Bavarian creme and finished with a chocolate icing drizzle.
