Kumon Franchise Expands in the Tampa Bay Area with the Opening of a New Math and Reading Learning Center in Dunedin, Florida

February 08, 2017 // Franchising.com // Teaneck, N.J – Thousands of parents in Dunedin, Florida will now have access to an individualized learning program for their preschool to high school aged children. Kumon, the world’s largest after-school math and reading program, is expanding in the Tampa Bay area with the opening of a new learning center in Dunedin.

There are 17 Kumon Math and Reading Centers in the Tampa Bay area, including four in Pinellas County. The school district in Pinellas County is the seventh largest in Florida and 26th largest in the nation.

“A great deal of emphasis is placed on education in Pinellas County as many of the schools offer opportunities for academically advanced and gifted individuals,” said Larry Lambert, vice president of franchise recruitment at Kumon North America. “We are excited to provide even more students in the area with an opportunity to receive an academic advantage while developing a love for learning.”
