New Caring Transitions Business Offers Downsizing, Relocation and Estate Sale Services in Lower Bucks County

Kathy Edwards and her business partner, Sam Chud, are excited to announce the launch of their new business, Caring Transitions of Lower Bucks County.

YARDLEY, PA (PRWEB) Marcj 16, 2017 - When Kathy Edwards was caring for her parents who lived almost 400 miles away, she realized there was a gap in services in her area for families who may need help downsizing, relocating, clearing estates and more. Now Kathy and her business partner, Sam Chud, are excited to fill that gap with their new business, Caring Transitions of Lower Bucks County.

Caring Transitions is America’s largest resource for managing senior relocations as well as downsizing and estate liquidations. In addition to organizing, packing, de-cluttering, moving and resettling, Caring Transitions can handle in-person and online estate sales, liquidations, and preparing homes for market. Caring Transitions of Lower Bucks County serves Yardley/Morrisville, Warminster, Southampton, Langhorne and the surrounding communities.

Whether your situation is planned or unexpected, Caring Transitions’ services are perfect for seniors moving in with family or into a safer living situation as well as busy families and people clearing out the home of a loved one who has passed. All of Caring Transitions’ services are customizable, so clients only pay for the services they need – whether that means managing the entire move and estate-clearing or just getting someone resettled into their new place.

“All of these situations are stressful and can be overwhelming, especially for seniors and their families. The services we offer at Caring Transitions can be customized to suit your particular needs and are all designed to help alleviate the burden of the physical move so you can spend more time with your loved ones and focus on doing what’s best for your family,” Kathy said.

Kathy moved to Bucks County about 25 years ago for her pharmaceutical career and then, after 12 years, opened a bagel shop. After 13 years in the restaurant business, she recently decided it was time to do something different.

“I was a long-distance caregiver for my parents, who lived in Buffalo, New York, and it was definitely challenging. When I learned about Caring Transitions, I realized how helpful a service like that would have been for my family and thought the business would be a great fit for this community and for me,” Kathy said.

She talked to Sam, a former colleague and friend who has lived in Bucks County with his family for 30 years, about the business idea and he was on board too. He left his corporate job a couple years back and was looking for a business investment when Kathy approached him about Caring Transitions. Sam worked in healthcare and also experienced what many Caring Transitions clients are facing with his own parents.

“I spent 30 years in the healthcare business in various commercial roles and, throughout my career, came to understand the concerns and challenges our seniors face. Between my career background and my personal experience with my family and the aging process, Caring Transitions definitely made sense,” Sam said. “Caring Transitions is a unique opportunity about being empowered to make a positive impact on people’s lives at a particularly stressful time.”

Sam and Kathy added that they’re excited to be opening a Caring Transitions franchise because of the current and future need of the services the company offers. According to the Population Reference Bureau, the number of Americans 65 and older is projected to more than double from 46 million to 98 million over the next 40 years. Caring Transitions was also just included in Entrepreneur Magazine’s annual Franchise 500® for its exceptional performance in areas including financial strength and stability, growth rate, and brand power.
