VOP to Finance, Own, And Operate as many as 50 JDog Service Territories Across Regions in Five Mid-Atlantic States and Metro DC

BERWYN, Pa. - March 21, 2017 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Veteran Opportunity Partners LLC (VOP) announced its official launch today in partnership with JDog Junk Removal and Hauling (JDog), the nation’s leading U.S. Military Franchise Brand. The two companies have the shared objective of providing robust career opportunities to Military Veterans and their families.

As a Strategic JDog Development Partner, VOP operates as a stand-alone, centrally-managed company. Formed by a trio of Philadelphia businessmen, VOP founders Steve Tazza, Tom Nader and Mike McNulty bring more than 60 years of combined investing, franchising, and operations experience to the partnership.

“VOP was founded on the belief that powerful business results can be generated by combining capitalist incentives with military operating ideals and that the skills, habits and lessons learned in military training are transferrable and valuable in a consumer services business,” said VOP Chairman Mike McNulty,

With several initial locations in the Philadelphia region already being led by Marine Corps veteran Chad Allen, VOP has a five-year strategic plan to finance, launch, own, and operate as many as 50 JDog service locations across the Mid-Atlantic region.

“The partnership with VOP is an important milestone for JDog and marks a logical extension of our growth strategy,” said Jerry Flanagan, CEO and founder of JDog. “I’m excited to extend the company’s reach into new and important markets through this unique partnership where our collective objectives in Military-branded consumer services and Veteran employment opportunities are perfectly aligned.”

VOP’s CEO and U.S. Naval Academy graduate Steve Tazza offered: “JDog is an established business model with proven economics and compelling growth potential. We wanted to help drive that growth by building a distinct and scalable operating model and work culture known for its authenticity and teamwork. We are actively looking for high-energy, entrepreneurial-minded Veterans to join our team and look forward to establishing initial operations in key markets in PA, NJ, and the Baltimore-Washington D.C. corridor and surpassing our business goals.”

JDog franchises are offered exclusively to military veterans and their family members. Franchisees operate easily recognizable, camouflage vehicles and trailers and wear military-style uniforms. With more than 131 franchise territories awarded in 29 states, the company is experiencing rapid growth.
