Pirtek-Sponsored Racer Posts First-Place Finish in Snocross Finale

Owner of Minnesota franchises supports Hentges team for 13th season.

March 31, 2017 // Franchising.com // Shakopee, MN, USA - Snocross racer Kody Kamm, a member of the Hentges Racing Team, finished first in Pro Open points at the 2017 Snocross Grand Finale March 17-19. Kamm’s strong finish in Shakopee, MN, was good news to Pirtek franchise owner Craig Heitkamp, a major sponsor of the Hentges Racing Team for the past 13 years.

“We were so glad to see Kody make such an impressive showing at the finale,” said Heitkamp, owner of Pirtek franchises in Midway and Plymouth, MN. “It was a great end to an exciting season.”

Billed as a high-adrenaline sport, Snocross is the same basic concept as Motocross. Instead of motorcycles, the winter competition features snowmobiles racing around tracks with tight turns and jumps.

Kamm’s final numbers put him a full 13 points ahead of the second-place finisher. Another Hentges racer, Petter Narsa, finished a strong fifth during the competition.

Heitkamp’s sponsorship of the Hentges team is consistent with Pirtek USA’s ongoing commitment to the sport. The Pirtek Snocross National, presented by Jimmy Johns, ran in January. Pirtek USA also sponsored the track-grooming equipment in this year’s AMSOIL Championship Snocross, powered by RAM.
