AAMCO Franchise Of San Rafael Receives “Automotive Repair Center Of The Year” Award

Consumer Business Review Editorial Staff Acknowledges Local Franchise Owner for Exceptional Service

April 05, 2017 // Franchising.com // HORSHAM, Penn. - AAMCO Transmissions, Inc. (“AAMCO”), franchisor of the world’s largest branded chain of transmission specialists and an industry leader in total car care services, announced today that its service center located in San Rafael, California has been recognized as the 2017 recipient of the Automotive Repair Center of the Year award by the editorial staff of Consumer Business Review. The award was given based on many surveys from local customers, as well as an in-depth background check of its overall alignment with the AAMCO brand and a compilation of local consumer reviews posted to Google and Yelp.

The award-winning shop located at 3241 Kerner Boulevard has been owned and operated by McDonald Lozada for the last three years.

“Our AAMCO center constantly strives to provide the highest quality of service to each customer that visits our location,” said Lozada. “We are truly honored to receive this award, and I personally attribute this recognition to the hard work of my crew.”

Consumer Business Review interviewed customers about their experience at AAMCO of San Rafael, as well as their opinions of the nationwide warranty and financing options offered through the center. The local AAMCO service center was chosen as the Automotive Repair Center of the Year out of several surrounding competitors.

“We are very proud of McDonald Lozada, his team and the positive impact they have made on their customers,” said Rob Rajkowski, COO at AAMCO Transmissions, Inc. “They exemplify the values of the AAMCO brand and we commend their ongoing dedication to those they service.”

For more than 50 years, AAMCO’s network of locally owned and independently operated automotive service centers has employed the latest technology. Expert technicians diagnose a repair, fix it right the first time and back it with a nationwide warranty. Known as the world’s leading transmission expert, the company has evolved into a total car care brand that provides a variety of services including brake repair, tune-ups, shocks and struts, routine maintenance and more. AAMCO was named to Entrepreneur’s 2017 Franchise 500 ranking top of its category for the third consecutive year. Based on network size, growth rate and financial strength, last year, the brand also earned a spot on Entrepreneur’s “Best of the Best” list. Additionally, AAMCO has been consecutively ranked on Franchise Times’ Top 200+ for the last two years.

With nearly 650 centers across North America, AAMCO is actively seeking single- and multi-unit franchisee operators who are passionate about the brand and committed to providing the highest quality service. Interested candidates should have a minimum net worth of $250,000 and liquid assets of at least $65,000 per unit. Depending on the real estate site selected, franchisees can expect the total investment to be approximately $227,400 - $333,000 with a $39,500 initial franchise fee. AAMCO offers financing support for qualified candidates. Reduced franchise fees are also available for honorably discharged veterans.
