Hi-Five Sports Names Howard “H” Rothenberg Head of Franchise Development

Seasoned Industry Leader to Guide Nationwide Expansion and Brand Innovation

May 24, 2017 // Franchising.com // SAN FRANCISCO – Hi-Five Sports, providing the nation’s highest quality youth sports programming, announced today the appointment of youth sports and camp industry veteran Howard “H” Rothenberg as Head of Franchise Development to lead Hi-Five’s growth as a premier, nationwide brand.

“Coach ‘H’ emerged as the obvious choice to lead Hi-Five’s development and growth,” said Ryan Tuchman, CEO of Hi-Five Sports Franchising. “’H’s’ connections with Hi-Five run deep – he was on the ground floor with my father in 1991, helping to grow the brand from a small basketball league into an ongoing program with more than 400 participants across Chicagoland. His expertise and insight into the camp industry will be invaluable in taking the Hi-Five brand to the next level.”

Prior to joining Hi-Five Sports, “H” worked his way up the ranks of private and not-for-profit camps in the Midwest, starting as a camper and eventually opening his own camp in Charlottesville, Virginia. “H” has successfully managed the development and growth of many camps across the country and also serves as the Professional Development Chair for the American Camp Association Virginias Leadership Council, where he organizes educational programming and visits camps.

“I’ve been so fortunate to live out my passion, and I’m excited to return to Hi-Five,” said “H”. “I’ve been keeping pace with the brand over the years, and I’m blown away with how zealous and driven everyone is to make Hi-Five a household name. It’s an incredible team to be a part of.”

“H” brings more than four decades of experience to the youth sports programming brand that is changing attitudes about youth sports. After working as a consultant for various private schools, summer camps and sports programs over the years, “H’s” entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for connecting with others has propelled him to success in all of his ventures. The combination of his experience in camps as well as his passion for sports make him a strong contributor, team player and leader.
