Harcourts USA Opens 6 Franchises in 6 Months

May 31, 2017 // Franchising.com // Harcourts USA enters the second quarter of 2017 strong, bringing on 6 new offices since November 2016.

Focusing on developing the Southern California region, Harcourts has expanded their Los Angeles and Orange County footprint, in addition to branching into the Ventura area. Offices have signed in Anaheim Hills, Newport Beach, and Laguna Beach, as well as Camarillo, Torrance, and Canoga Park.

Harcourts Maxximum Realty joined in November 2016, marking the start of the growth spurt, with owners Max Sandoval and Paul Cubillos opening their Anaheim Hills location. Paul Cubillos has a Harcourts background, previously an agent at Harcourts Prime Properties in Monarch Beach, California. Max joins the team as an established Broker with an extensive background in real estate sales throughout Southern California.

At the start of 2017, Kevin Sanchez, owner of Harcourts Prime Properties in Aliso Viejo, Monarch Beach, and and Carlsbad joined hands with Westley Williams and Art Heckman to open a fourth Harcourts Prime Properties office in Newport Beach, California.

Westley Williams and Art Heckman are award-winning top producers with a great deal of experience in the luxury real estate market throughout South Orange County.

Armando Jimenez and Lindsay Wellman also opened an office early this year in Camarillo, California. Harcourts Preferred is the first office to open in Ventura County.

The growth derived from within existing franchises both outward and upward stands as as strong indication of how the support, culture, and tools provided by the Harcourts group help drive success.

Harcourts, now in 10 countries, is renowned world-wide for their outstanding culture and team environment, and this resonates with those even outside the Harcourts group.

Broker Vilma Letosky of Harcourts Bella Vista Realty joined Harcourts this year with 25 years of experience in the real estate industry. Opening her office in Canoga Park, she says that’s one of the key reasons she joined Harcourts,

“The leadership, vision of giving back, teamwork, and technology. These four values are extremely important to me.”

The support was also an important factor for Greg Babakhanian. Joining the group in late March, he endeavors to grow his business utilizing the support around recruitment, technology, and marketing. Harcourts Signature Properties is anticipated to open in Laguna Beach, California this Summer.

Aside from the ongoing client support and standout culture, Harcourts offers yet another point of difference in their Auction platform.

Courtney Self, South Bay Broker with 30 years of experience in the industry, joined Harcourts in late April with an interest incorporating Auction into her already well-established business, “The people and support are awesome. I feel the auction process will be great for our area.”

Courtney and husband Tony join the team as Harcourts Hunter Mason Realty, bringing over 20 new agents to the group.

While Harcourts USA has seen significant growth in terms of new franchises, their momentum hasn’t changed the support provided to existing offices. In fact, recruitment efforts have brought on nearly 120 new agents in the past three months and numbers continue to climb. The non-distressed Auctions platform continues to gain traction with a 92.5% success rate. The team called their 500th Auction this year.

As the team prepares for the Grand Openings of Torrance and Laguna Beach in the coming month, growth and support continue to be top goals for the Group as they enter into the second quarter.
