Hilton Signs New Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in Tegucigalpa, Honduras

New Build Hilton Garden Inn Tegucigalpa to Form Part of Real De Minas Mall

June 30, 2017 // Franchising.com // TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras and MCLEAN, Va. - Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the signing of a management agreement with Desarrolladores Asociados de Honduras (DAH) to operate a new build 173-room Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Scheduled to open in 2021, the hotel will introduce Hilton Garden Inn – Hilton’s upscale yet affordable global brand of hotels, to the country’s capital and largest city.

Hilton Garden Inn Tegucigalpa will form part of the mixed used complex, which will be home to the Real De Minas Mall, office space and entertainment options. Approximately nine miles from the Toncontín International Airport, the hotel will be strategically located on Boulevard Juan Pablo II in the heart of the city, near major businesses and tourist attractions, such as the historic center and Presidential Palace.

The new Hilton Garden Inn Tegucigalpa will feature on-property dining options including a restaurant, lobby bar and coffee shop. The hotel will offer nearly 13,000 square feet of flexible event space including a ballroom that can be divided into three separate spaces, and six breakout rooms, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and 24-hour business center. Recreational amenities will include an outdoor pool and state-of-the-art fitness center.
