Maaco And Meineke Honor 45th Birthday With National Celebration

Consumers Can Unwrap Special Discounts and Services as Part of the Joint Birthday Party

September 18, 2017 // Franchising.com // CHARLOTTE - In 1972, both Meineke Car Care Centers® and Maaco® opened their doors to serve America’s drivers, with Meineke located in Houston, TX, and Maaco in Wilmington, DE. Today, 45 years later, more than 1,500 Maaco and Meineke locations offer motorists total car care to keep them safe, well-maintained and looking their best on the road around the world.

While the two legendary automotive brands were founded independently, they later joined the Driven Brands family of automotive aftermarket brands including CARSTAR®, Take 5 Oil Change® and 1-800-Radiator & A/C®. This fall, Maaco and Meineke are hosting a very special Happy 45th Birthday event at participating U.S. locations, and consumers have an opportunity to unwrap 45 percent discounts on core services at both brands. Meineke is offering 45 percent off all of their oil change packages, while Maaco is offering 45 percent off its basic overall paint service or pre-paint services.

At Meineke, consumers can receive a 45 percent off gift on all synthetic blend, high mileage, and full synthetic oil change packages, with up to 5 quarts of oil and standard oil filter included. Dexos and other OEM oil specifications available at an additional cost. Not valid on conventional or basic oil changes. Synthetic Blend applies to 5W20 and 5W30 viscosities. Valid on most cars and light trucks at participating Meineke U.S. locations. Not valid with any other offers, special order parts or warranty work.

At Maaco, drivers will get 45 percent off pre-paint services or the most popular paint service in a single color. Offer applies to enamel paint in single color only. Not valid with other promotions, discounts or insurance claims. Offer doesn’t apply to trucks, vans, SUVs and commercial vehicles. Parts, body work, rust repair and stripping of old paint not included as a discounted option. Valid for retail customers at participating locations only.

As part of the 45th birthday celebration, Maaco and Meineke are running a co-branded television commercial honoring the work of both brands, along with a direct mail and digital marketing campaign.
