Based in Indianapolis, Beeline Bikes Powered by Bicycle Garage Indy is owned and operated by Randy Clark and Scott Helvie, offering expert bike service and advice with a fully stocked mobile bike repair shop that travels to the customer at the location, day and time of their choosing. An Indiana native, Scott Helvie discovered his passion for bikes in high school, which carried over into college. After graduating from Purdue University with a bachelor’s in economics, Helvie began looking for jobs in the bicycling business. He worked for Bicycle Garage Indy (BGI) for about five years before joining Giant Bicycle as territory manager where he worked for ten years. In 2014, BGI’s founder and chief executive officer, Randy Clark, approached Helvie about transitioning the shop’s ownership to the former employee. With more than 15 years of industry experience under his belt, Helvie now co-owns BGI with Clark and manages day-to-day operations at BGI’s chief operations officer.
