Celebrate National Pretzel Month with Ben’s Soft Pretzels

“Pretzeltober” to Benefit Intrepid Fallen Heroes

October 23, 2017 // Franchising.com // GOSHEN, IN - Ben’s Soft Pretzels, one of the fastest growing pretzel franchise in the U.S., will celebrate October’s National Pretzel Month also know at the Amish-inspired bakery as “Pretzeltober.” Ben’s Soft Pretzels is offering daily pretzel specials and will be raising donations for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund during the entire month of October.

The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund (IFHF) is a leader in supporting the men and women of the Armed Forces and their families. The IFHF has provided nearly $200 million in support for the families of military personnel lost in service to our nation, and for severely wounded military personnel and veterans. These efforts are funded entirely with donations from the public, and hundreds of thousands of individuals have contributed to the Fund.

“At Ben’s Soft Pretzels, we honor our military and their families at the highest regard, it is because of them we can live the American Dream,” said Scott Jones, CEO and co-founder of Ben’s Soft Pretzels. “Since we can turn the spotlight of America’s love of pretzels during National Pretzel Month to doing some good for Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund that we support year-round that is so important to us.” Since 2015, Ben’s Soft Pretzels has raised more than $90,000 to support the organization. All of the administrative costs of the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund are underwritten by the nonprofit’s Board of Trustees.

“Pretzeltober” highlights include:

• For every $1 donated to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund , guests will have the opportunity to write their name or their favorite veteran’s name on a fighter jet cut-out at the bakeries.
• Participating Ben’s Soft Pretzel locations will serve $5 Buck Pretzel Meals (Includes your choice of a Jumbo Soft Pretzel, Pretzel Stix, Buggy Bites, or a Pretzel Dog with a fountain soda. Many meals also include a dipping sauce.)
• Get a free Jumbo Pretzel on the Ben’s Soft Pretzel app from October 1-31st. (Value $3.69+)

All Pretzeltober deals are valid at participating locations only October 1-31st.

The soft pretzel franchise will also be giving four Veterans and their families a chance to win a VIP pretzel party on Veterans Day at Ben’s Soft Pretzels; headquarters in Goshen, IN. Fans can enter to win by filling out the entry form found at www.facebook.com/benspretzels and sharing the name of their favorite veteran. A winner will be chosen at random from the entries on November 1, 2017.
