Music Education Franchise Opens Newest Oklahoma Location

January 03, 2018 // Franchising.com // OKLAHOMA CITY - School of Rock, the leader in performance-based music education, announces the opening of its newest school in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, located at 2841 Lancaster Suite D Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73116. A grand opening party will be held on Saturday, January 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.. The rockin’ bash will feature a ceremonial guitar smashing, inflatable games, live music, tours, giveaways and more.

At School of Rock, students of all ages can find an engaging and exciting environment to develop skills on various instruments such as guitar, vocals, keyboard, bass and drums. Drawing on classic rock n’ roll theory and songs, School of Rock teachers build their student’s repertoire on the foundational methods of artists like AC/DC and Pink Floyd. This unique performance-based approach has advanced students across the world by preparing them with superior stage presence and instrumental skills, propelling some to record deals, Broadway and competition such as American Idol, The Voice.

The new School of Rock Oklahoma City will be the second school for partners Ted Kuschel and Brandon Birdwell, who opened their first location in Edmond, Oklahoma in July 2016. The longtime friends and bandmates have operated other franchise concepts, but fell in love with School of Rock thanks to the autonomy and connection to their shared passion – music – that it provided. After visiting locations in Texas, the duo couldn’t wait to bring the brand to Oklahoma.
