Executive Care Set to Open Second Virginia Location in Ashburn

December 18, 2018 // Franchising.com // HACKENSACK, N.J. - With an aging population that requires help with daily activities or managing health, in-home care has become an increasingly popular solution. Looking to help manage the rising demand for such services, Executive Care, one of the nation’s leading providers of skilled home health care, is set to open its second office in Virginia to further expand its services throughout the Old Dominion state.

Following the successful launch of the location in Richmond, Executive Care will open the new Northern Virginia office in Ashburn at 44075 Pipeline Plaza, in early 2019. Executive Care of Northern Virginia will be owned and operated by Darren Peterson, and will service areas of northern Virginia from Purcellville in western Loudon County to McLean on the East in Fairfax County.

Prior to joining the Executive Care team, Peterson’s professional background took him from the U.S. to Italy, working in the various fields from the restaurant industry to software engineering to marketing and finance for Fortune 500 and 100 companies. With extensive project management and team leadership experience coupled with strong business acumen Peterson plans to further establish Executive Care’s footprint in Virginia, and become a trusted source for those in need of in-home care for their aging loved ones.

Founded in 2004, Executive Care offers a variety of caregiving and skilled services to help families often overwhelmed with the responsibility of providing care to a loved one – all while ensuring the patient remains in the comfort of his or her own home. Services range from companionship and help with meal preparation and household chores to help with bathing, personal hygiene, and personal care. To guarantee the highest quality, Executive Care requires all prospective caregivers to undergo an intensive pre-employment screening process, including a criminal background investigation, verification of references and an employment history check. All caregivers are insured, experienced and undergo skills tests and continuing education training. Care Coordinators closely supervise and monitor all staff, conducting periodic evaluation assessments.

According to Leonard, company plans call for 8 locations in Virginia To augment its growth, Executive Care is looking for qualified franchise partners who have a passion for health care. Including a franchise fee (for a territory with a population of 500,000 residents) of $44,900, initial investment to own and operate an Executive Care office ranges between $99,650 and $169,900. The franchise fee for a second territory is reduced to $35,900 and $29,500 for a third territory.
