Golden Knights’ Engelland and Orangetheory Fitness Providing Shoes to Kids in Need

Deryk Engelland from the Vegas Golden Knights and his wife Melissa are joining forces between their foundation Engos Heroes and Vegas-area Orangetheory Fitness studios this month to raise money for the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation, an organization that provides new shoes to local children in need.

LAS VEGAS (PRWEB) January 17, 2019 - Orangetheory Fitness’ Spring Valley and Las Vegas South locations have teamed up with the Vegas Golden Knights’ Deryk Engelland and his wife Melissa to raise money to purchase shoes for Vegas-area children in need through the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation. The fundraiser is now underway and will run until January 30, 2019.

For every $10 given, donors will receive one raffle ticket for a chance to win prizes at each Orangetheory location including: two lower bowl tickets to a Golden Knights’ game, a jersey signed by the team, and a 10-pack of Orangetheory Fitness classes.

Orangetheory will also be hosting a special fundraising workout at Spring Valley and Las Vegas South locations on January 26 at 12:15pm, where the company will donate a penny for every calorie burned by the entire class. Registration for the class is $25 for all participants.

All the money raised will be in addition to Engelland's Engos Heroes and New Balance donating $10,000 towards the effort to provide area children new shoes.

Capping off the fundraiser, Orangetheory Fitness will join the Engelland’s on February 8 to help kids get fitted for their news shoes.

“Orangetheory is all about helping people live their best lives, and that includes assisting those in need right here in the Vegas community,” said Chris Rodgers, owner of the two participating Vegas locations. “We are so grateful to the Engellands and New Balance for their generous donations to the effort, and we encourage everyone to join us in this important effort and maybe win some great prizes along the way!”

Those interested in donating can drop off cash gifts at Orangetheory Fitness Spring Valley located at 5990 S Rainbow Boulevard Suite 200, Las Vegas, Nevada 89118 or Orangetheory Fitness Las Vegas South located at 10271 S Eastern Avenue #103, Henderson, Nevada 89052. Raffle tickets and prizes will only be redeemable at Las Vegas South and Spring Valley locations.
