Black Bear Diner Announces New Restaurant Opening in Portland, Oregon

Family dining franchise expands Oregon presence with eleventh diner in the state.

REDDING, Calif. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - March 04, 2019 - Black Bear Diner, the fast-growing, family dining concept that offers a one-of-a-kind experience and home-style comfort food classics in a friendly, bear-themed atmosphere, has announced it is officially opening its doors tomorrow, March 5, in Portland, Oregon. The franchise-owned restaurant will be located at 3737 SE 82nd Avenue.

The opening marks Black Bear Diner’s 11th in the state and first in Southeast Portland, bringing its home-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner comfort food classics to the Portland community, including Corned Beef Hash, Beyond Burger, and Bigfoot Chicken Fried Steak. The Portland diner is 5,118 square-feet and has a capacity of 144 guests.
