Rush Bowls Brings Healthy Eating to Tucson

March 05, 2019 // Franchising.com // BOULDER, Colo. - Rush Bowls - a fast-casual restaurant chain known for its meals-in-a-bowl crafted from the finest fruits and vegetables, topped with granola and honey, and blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients - is opening its first Arizona location.

Located at 1058 N Campbell Ave, the 1,100 square foot store is opening on Monday, March 4 and will be the first of at least three Rush Bowls locations to be owned and operated by Brian Seay.

“I believe that eating healthy should be easy for everyone, and when I came across Rush Bowls I really resonated with the mission of providing quick health to all ages,” added Seay. “Rush Bowls has garnered a strong following in Colorado and beyond, and we are confident that it is a perfect fit for Tucson.”

Prior to Rush Bowls, Seay followed in his father’s footsteps and served in the military. He then went on to work in the hospitality and food industry where has held every position from a dish-washer to a General Manager and everything in-between. It wasn’t until after Seay retired that he found Rush Bowls and decided it was the perfect venture for him.

Founded in 2004, Rush Bowls offers meals crafted from all-natural fruit, topped with organic granola and honey, and blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients that taste delicious while promoting a healthy lifestyle. Customers can choose from over 40 signature bowls or all-natural smoothies made with fruit and vegetable bases, including acai, kale and avocado.

“Our number one priority is 100 percent all-natural nutrition, which makes Rush Bowls different from other grab-and-go concepts,” Andrew Pudalov, founder and CEO of Rush Bowls noted. “Rush Bowls’ meals are crafted from the finest fruits and vegetables, with fresh toppings like organic granola, hand-grinded peanut butter and jam made in-house to ensure the highest quality and taste for our customers.”

Over the past 15 years, Rush Bowls has cultivated a loyal following with its menu specializing in healthy, all-natural, fruit-blended meals-in-a-bowl for those on the go. Bowls are also available in vegan, gluten-free, soy-free and dairy free options, and anything can be custom made to cater to any and all dietary needs.

Currently, the brand has 100 Rush Bowls restaurants in various stages of development across 16 states and Canada, and a variety of deals in the pipeline in major markets throughout the United States.

“Rush Bowls is experiencing rapid growth. Tucson, a community that is vibrant with a heathy lifestyle focus, is a natural fit for the brand,” added Pudalov. “We are excited to have Brian lead the way for our development in Tucson.”
