Mimi Shea, Local Owner of Caring Transitions of Annapolis, Recognized with National Award

The Caring Transitions’ Rising Star Award is given to new franchisees who have demonstrated strong leadership and business growth in their first year of operation.

ANNAPOLIS, MD. (PRWEB) March 12, 2019 - Caring Transitions is pleased to announce that Mimi Shea, the local owner of Caring Transitions of Annapolis, has earned the Caring Transitions’ Rising Star Award. This national recognition is given to new franchisees who have demonstrated strong leadership and business growth in their first year of operation. The Rising Star Award was presented on February 19, 2019, at the Caring Transitions national conference.

“We are pleased to be able to recognize Mimi Shea with the Rising Star Award. Mimi came into Caring Transitions with quite a bit of estate sale and project management experience and she has put that experience to good use growing Caring Transitions of Annapolis. She has built an awesome team and a great referral network and we’re looking forward to seeing her growth in 2019 and beyond,” Caring Transitions President Ray Fabik said.

Caring Transitions’ specially-trained team can handle organizing, packing, de-cluttering, moving, resettling, in-person and online estate sales, liquidations, and preparing homes for market. Caring Transitions specializes in managing senior relocations, but the services are also perfect for busy families and individuals in need of assistance. Caring Transitions of Annapolis serves Anne Arundel County.

“I am very pleased to have been recognized by the Caring Transitions franchise with this award. In 2018, I was fortunate to connect with wonderful realtors and clients who were happy to pass my name along to their friends and family. Our team has been extremely busy helping our clients through the move process and the through their individual transitions - my amazing team of employees all contributed to making 2018 an amazing year,” Shea said.

Shea, who was no stranger to estate sales and project management before Caring Transitions, purchased the Caring Transitions of Annapolis Franchise in September of 2017. Shea was well known for her Wee-Sale Consignment Event (held in Hyattsville, MD) and She-Sale Ladies Consignment Event (held in Annapolis) and was looking forward to using that experience to expand her Caring Transitions business. She has also been involved with multiple family relocations, including moving her mother twice. As she looks ahead to the rest of 2019, Shea is excited about continuing to grow the business.

“Caring Transitions offers a unique, full range of services in our area - move management, downsizing, estate sales, liquidations and clear-outs. As we look ahead to the rest of 2019, I’m looking forward to growing my team and to using the new auction platform, CTBids.com, to connect more buyers and sellers through our estate sales,” Shea said.

Caring Transitions of Annapolis is insured and employees have been background checked. For additional information, call (410)451-1465, email MShea@CaringTransitions.com or visit http://www.CaringTransitionsAnnapolis.com.
