U.S. Army Lt. Colonel & Wife Opens Studio in Fairfax

CANONSBURG, Pa. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - May 28, 2019 - Deka Lash, the experts in eyelashes, announced the opening of the newest studio and first location in Virginia. The studio is located in Mosaic District of Fairfax and is owned and operated by Christina and Charles Cox.

Deka Lash provides semi-permanent eyelash extensions featuring a unique in-studio experience, online booking and extended hours including evening and weekend appointments. Deka Lash’s highly-trained and licensed lash artists take their time to ensure quality applications, individually designed to fit the client’s eye shape and lifestyle.

The Cox’s come to the concept with esteemed backgrounds. Charles proudly served in the United States Army for 25 years ending his service as an impressive Lt. Colonel and currently works at the Pentagon. Christina is a teacher, focusing on teaching to students with special needs and those learning English as a second language. In preparation for retirement from their current careers, they began looking at a variety of business concepts. Intrigued with the amount of time their daughter spent watching YouTube Videos on make-up and lash videos, they began researching the eyelash extension craze and found Deka Lash. “In doing our due diligence we found we loved the concept, the Founders and the corporate team,” said Christina. “They genuinely care about providing exceptional quality to their clients and a workplace where employees feel appreciated and part of a family.”

The Cox’s are proud of their studio opening: Deka Lash - Mosaic is located at 2985 District Ave. in the Mosaic District Shopping Center. Studio hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. For additional information, go to dekalash.com.
