Nashville is next in Bubbakoo Burrito’s Nationwide Expansion

Jersey Shore-based burrito chain signs development deal to open at least two locations in the Nashville area

October 08, 2019 // Franchising.com // POINT PLEASANT, N.J. - With over 30 locations open in New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Georgia, Bubbakoo’s Burritos is continuing to grow and reach new markets – this time in the Mt. Juliet and Nashville area. The Jersey Shore-based eatery touts Mexican food fused with American flavor and has signed a development deal to bring the cuisine to at least two locations in Tennessee.

This deal is one of many that are pushing Bubbakoo’s to new territories, including Los Angeles, Louisville, New York, and more, pushing the brand to have over 50 locations open or under construction. The company plans to have a total of 500 locations open nationwide within the next five years.

“We can’t wait to bring Bubbakoo’s to the Nashville area,” said franchisee Vijay Patel, who will be opening up the two Tennessee locations with his wife, Pinky. “I’ve owned many franchises before, but I am excited about this opportunity because Bubbakoo’s has such a great variety of options on their menu that I think the community will really appreciate.”

Bubbakoo’s offers the usual fast-casual burrito fare such as burritos, tacos, bowls and quesadillas, but with 16 different protein options, including crispy buffalo chicken, hibachi steak and shrimp, Sriracha shredded pork, and Southern-style barbecue chicken and pork. Vegetarian options include a bean-cheese-guacamole combo and batter-fried jalapeños. And, originals such as The Chiwawa, a cheese-smothered, panko-crusted fried rice ball, keeps Bubbakoo’s faithfuls coming back.

The burgeoning burrito joint also offers sides such as Southwest egg rolls, chips, salsa, queso, guacamole, curly fries and nachos, as well as desserts including batter-fried Oreo cookies and “love chips,” which are tortilla chips dusted in powdered sugar and drizzled with caramel or raspberry syrup.

“We’ve looked into many options for our next business venture and ultimately chose Bubbakoo’s because of the extensive and unique menu,” said Patel. “We know that the people of Nashville will be excited to try it.”
