BIGGBY® COFFEE to Honor Veterans with Free Coffee on Veterans Day

November 11, 2019 // Franchising.com // East Lansing, MI - As a small way to thank the men and women that serve and have served in the United States military, BIGGBY® COFFEE is giving free brewed to all active and retired members of the military.

It is because of their sacred sacrifice BIGGBY® COFFEE is able to make friends, have fun, be themselves, and share great coffee. Through their sacrifice, BIGGBY® COFFEE is able to spread love to the communities they serve and provide a safe, loving, and inclusive environment for anyone that walks through their doors.

On Veterans Day, November 11, all retired and active military will receive free brewed on BIGGBY® COFFEE throughout the nation when they present their id. While just a small token of thanks, BIGGBY® COFFEE believes that life is better when we share great coffee.

Whether you sit and stay or grab to go, BIGGBY® COFFEE loves every individual that walks through their doors and is proud to serve the world’s greatest coffee to veterans throughout the nation. To take it even one step further, BIGGBY® COFFEE is honored to help veterans build lives they love as they build their own BIGGBY® COFFEE businesses.

BIGGBY® COFFEE owner/operator and eight-year Marine Corp veteran Charles Solano has been a BIGGBY® COFFEE fanatic since the first store opened nearly 25 years ago.

“I believe in BIGGBY® COFFEE. I love it. One thing I’ve found with BIGGBY® COFFEE that is similar to the military is how it is like a family,” Solano said. “We knew each other well in the military and the same principle applies here with BIGGBY® COFFEE.”

Solano is one of many military members in the BIGGBY® COFFEE community, and we are honored to work with him, as well as many other military owner/operators.

Because BIGGBY® COFFEE values veterans, approved honorably discharged veterans will receive a 50 percent discount on their initial franchise fee no matter the day. Through internal support and coaching by seasoned veteran BIGGBY® COFFEE owners, incoming veteran owner/operators get individual mentorship unlike any other.
