Take 5 Oil Change Partners with Texas Tech University to Kick Off Student Scholarship Program at Texas Tech-Kansas State Game on November 23

Texas Tech University Students and Lubbock Residents to Benefit from Take 5 Community Involvement

November 19, 2019 // Franchising.com // CHARLOTTE - Take 5 Oil Change is proud to announce a partnership with Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. As part of the partnership, Take 5 will be awarding a $5,660 scholarship each semester to one lucky student. The Take 5 team will be in the tailgate area on Boston Avenue to kick off the partnership and greet students with free food, prizes and free oil change gift certificates on Saturday, November 23rd before the Texas Tech-Kansas State game in Lubbock. The first Take 5 Oil Change Scholarship winner, John Garza, a junior from Deer Park TX, will receive his scholarship on field prior to the game. Garza is majoring in sports management with a minor in public relations, and he works in Athletic Development for Texas Tech Athletics.
