FlannelJax’s Names Terry Stewart as Vice President of Franchise Services & Operations

Premier Axe-Throwing Establishment Franchise Adds New VP to Executive Team

December 19, 2019 // Franchising.com // Mississauga, Ontario - FlannelJax’s, America’s premier axe-throwing and Lumberjack experience, recently named Terry Stewart as Vice President – Franchise Services & Operations.

Stewart brings two decades of franchise and operations management experience to FlannelJax’s executive team. He is well versed in the operational areas of marketing, supply chain management and senior leadership experience. Stewart spent more than 20 years with Dairy Queen International, serving in a wide range of roles including Field Consultant, Director of Operations, and numerous Vice President and Regional Director positions. He oversaw operations in more 1,600 locations in 28 countries across several continents.

FlannelJax’s is currently in the process of adding several new locations across the United States. The original establishment opened in St. Paul, MN in 2018, followed by locations in Madison, WI in September 2019 and Grand Rapids, MI in November. FlannelJax’s plans to add new locations in Seattle, WA, and Fort Collins, CO in the coming months.

FlannelJax’s features a variety of fun lumberjack-related activities, including axe-throwing (aiming for targets 13 feet away), Thump the Stump (a race to hammer a nail into a stump using a hatchet) and crosscut sawing (a competition to partner-saw through a log the fastest). The growing chain provides exciting competition in a safe, structured environment under the guidance and instruction of a certified staff of Lumberjacks and Lumberjills.
