Office Evolution Opens Second Location in Indiana Market

Air Force veteran opening coworking franchise to help service local small business community

January 16, 2020 // Franchising.com // Louisville, Colo. - Office Evolution, the largest coworking franchisor in the U.S., expands its national footprint with a new location in Fishers, Indiana, set to open February 1.

Located at 11 Municipal Drive, Suite 200, the new Office Evolution will be owned and operated by Tom and Lori Fifer and will serve small business owners and entrepreneurs in Carmel, Northeast Indianapolis, Fishers, Noblesville and surrounding areas.

“I’ve always had an interest in being a business owner,” said Tom. “Working with office spaces in my current role, I see a strong demand for flexible business support services to help entrepreneurs grow. Office Evolution’s national franchisee support is exemplary and unique, and the company’s member system, gives entrepreneurs the flexibility to use different locations across the United States. Those factors really stuck out to us because you don’t really see that anywhere else in the industry.”

As a retired Air Force veteran of 28 years with a background in real estate and construction management, and design development, Tom is eager to invest his previous experiences and diverse skillset into his own business. To connect with smaller business owners and stay true to his roots, Tom plans to offer veteran-owned companies a startup discount for his location.

“We are thrilled to bring Office Evolution to Fishers,” said Tom. “We are confident in the Office Evolution concept and are eager to build a community that not only helps small businesses and independent employers reach their goals but exceed their very own expectations.”

Office Evolution, with 65 locations open and nearly 80 in various stages of development, is the largest coworking franchise and the fourth largest network in the U.S. The model is based on local owners who are committed to serving their community, backed by the resources and distribution of a national brand and network is unique to the category. With more than 24 million non-employer businesses in the U.S. and more than 3.5 million U.S. businesses with four employees or less, demand for shared office space is high.

“We are proud of our Ohana and thrilled to welcome Tom and Lori as they bring the successful Office Evolution franchise to Fishers’ entrepreneurs and small businesses,” Office Evolution COO and Global Workspace Association Board Member William Edmundson said. “With their passion for community, entrepreneurial spirit and professional background, the Fifers will provide Fishers business owners with workspace and services that enhance business performance. Our rapidly expanding network of workspaces is home for business owners living in the suburbs who need a place to realize their dreams.”

With dedicated workspaces, including private offices, conference rooms and shared workspace, Office Evolution has solutions for every business. There are also phone-answering services, address & mail services and other professional capabilities to make each small-business owner exceed their goals.

“The dedication to the brand that Tom and Lori show is what Office Evolution is all about,” said Mark Hemmeter, founder and CEO of Office Evolution. “Community-driven partners like the Fifers are what makes us successful in helping entrepreneurs and small business owners. We are proud to have them open their center in Fishers and we have no doubt that it will be successful in helping the local business community.”
