The Human Bean has New Locations under Construction across the United States

February 21, 2020 // Franchising.com // Medford, OR - There are several new Human Bean locations currently under construction across the United States. We have just broke ground on more than one location this week alone and have many more locations that are in the middle of construction. Additionally we open our 99th location in Visalia, CA on Saturday, February 22nd.  It's an exciting time for the Human Bean brand!

We just broke ground on a new location in Kingman, Arizona. This will be the 8th location for these franchise owners, Brian & Juls Baumkirchner. We also recently broke ground on a new location in Albany, Oregon and construction has already started. This will be the 4th location for these franchise owners, Jay & Paula Reabs. A couple months ago we broke ground on a new location in Reno, Nevada.  This is the 3rd location in the city and for the franchise owner, Jeff Rhoden, as well. And a new location in Phoenix, Arizona is starting to take shape. This is the 5th location for these franchise owners, Brian and Greg Sherrill and Leslie Wilkerson. We also have a second new location opening in Phoenix, which will be the 2nd location for franchise owners, Todd & Karen Holton.

We will also be opening new locations in Lewisville, Texas and Walla Walla, Washington very soon.  We will be expanding to a new state, North Carolina, this year as well. New Human Bean Locations under construction will continue to be announced throughout the year as we have many more in the planning phase.

About The Human Bean Brand

The Human Bean team has a passion for creating happy people and a love of coffee. Soon after opening our original location in Ashland in 1998, the demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew. We then expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon and our commitment to developing the best drive-thru espresso led us to franchising The Human Bean’s brand and system in 2002. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas. We also directly source all of our coffee from farmers that we meet and establish connections with in the best coffee growing regions in the world. You can be proud of our Farm Friendly Direct coffee and where it comes from. We have funded a number of stewardship projects in these farmers’ countries to provide them with clean water, quality education, and more.

We also love the local communities we are located within. Giving back to and forming relationships within our local communities is a big part of The Human Bean brand. Every year our biggest donation day is Coffee for a Cure. We give 100% of our proceeds from all locations that day to local breast cancer care within each community. We have donated over $1.8 million to the cause over the last 14 years.

Franchising with the Human Bean

Unlike nearly all other franchises, we do not charge percentage-of-sales royalty fees. We earn revenues from bulk sales of coffee and other supplies ordered from our franchised locations. At The Human Bean, we work as a team with our franchisees. Our franchisees don’t work for us by paying high royalties that take away from their bottom line. Our goal is for Human Bean franchisees to enjoy the returns from their investment while receiving the benefits of being part of The Human Bean franchise.
