LaRosa’s Team Member Relief Fund: Nearly $430,000 Raised

Program Continues to Assist nearly 4,000 Team Members & Their Families Across 65 Pizzerias in Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana as Some LaRosa’s Dining Rooms Prepare to Open

May 14, 2020 // Franchising.com // CINCINNATI, OHIO - The LaRosa Family and LaRosa’s Family Pizzerias launched the LaRosa’s Team Member Relief Fund with $100,000 in early April. Week-by-week, the fund has grown through Buddy Card sales, cash donations from LaRosa’s guests and The LaRosa Family dollar-for-dollar match – with a total-to-date raised of $ 428,030. The Relief Fund is continuing to directly support LaRosa’s Family Pizzeria’s nearly 4,000 pizzeria team members and their families, even as some LaRosa dining rooms open later this week and in stages throughout the rest of May.

“We are in the process of planning to re-open our dining rooms in accordance with health safety guidelines, but our pizzeria Team Members & their families continue to need our help”, said Michael LaRosa, CEO, LaRosa’s, Inc.

100% of the proceeds from LaRosa’s $10 Buddy Cards for sale in its pizzerias and online go directly to the Team Member Relief Fund. The Buddy Card features 14 ‘buy-one large pizza and get a large cheese pizza free’ offers for pick up and dine in and is valid for a year.

Guests and the community-at-large can buy Buddy Cards at LaRosa’s pizzerias in person. Or, Guests can add a Buddy Card to an order when using the LaRosa’s app. LaRosa’s will even bring a newly- purchased card along with a delivery order. Guests who would like to simply donate to the Team Member Relief Fund can donate directly through the app, by calling or online.

LaRosa’s is offering something to help guests get through these unprecedented times, too. Now until LaRosa’s dining rooms open again, when Guests use any active Buddy Card- newly purchased or one that is months old- just like they usually do, LaRosa’s will not deduct any offers from the Buddy Card.
