Goodcents Customers Who Wear A Mask Will Get A Cookie - On The House

The restaurant wants to thank guests for helping them comply with local ordinances

June 29, 2020 // Franchising.com // DE SOTO, Kan. - With many local governments now requiring face coverings in public, Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs will sweeten the deal by treating all dine-in and pick up customers who wear a mask to a free cookie. The offer goes into effect today, Monday, June 29, 2020, and will run through July 12th.

Guests at all public establishments in Kansas City, Missouri, and Wyandotte County are required to wear masks, effective the week of June 29. However, the wear-a-mask and get-a-cookie deal is good at all 66 Goodcents locations, whether or not face coverings are mandated by local ordinance.

“These are tough times for everyone and Goodcents wants to thank our customers for doing their part to keep our restaurants and communities safe,” said Chief Marketing Officer Arielle Long-Seabra. “We know the mask requirement may be a transition for some people, so we hope a free cookie sweetens the deal for them.”

All Goodcents locations adhere to CDC guidelines as well as local ordinances, which includes conducting employee wellness checks, rigorous handwashing, social distancing and consistent and robust cleaning and disinfecting. Goodcents also has extended sneeze guards and requires all employees wear masks.
