Oxi Fresh Continues Developing Arizona Market

Experienced family ownership group operating new location in Tucson

August 31, 2020 // Franchising.com // LAKEWOOD, Colo. - Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning, one of the nation’s greenest and fastest-growing carpet cleaning franchises, is proud to announce the start of a new Tucson carpet cleaning location in the Arizona market.

The new Oxi Fresh location, which began operations in early August, will service the city of Tucson. This new location will be owned and operated by Hunter O’Dowd and his parents, Paige and John.

This is not the O’Dowd’s first time serving their friends and neighbors through Oxi Fresh. John and Paige have been leading a location serving Mesa, Peoria, Surprise, Goodyear, and Phoenix regions over a year. After seeing their experiences with Oxi Fresh, Hunter was eager to stretch his entrepreneurial spirit by operating his own Oxi Fresh franchise.

“I have always been looking for ways to work for myself, and given my family’s background with Oxi Fresh, this seemed like a great opportunity to become a small business owner,” stated Hunter. “Oxi Fresh’s solid business model provides a clear path for growth, and with the guidance of my parents and Oxi Fresh corporate, I am confident that this new location will be a great success. I look forward to providing a high quality Tucson carpet cleaning service for years to come.”

For Hunter, part of that service will be focused on the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout this challenging time, Oxi Fresh locations have been providing important services in markets across the country. Oxi Fresh’s carpet sanitizing service helps kill odor-causing bacteria in houses, and their hospital-grade hard surface disinfectant meets the EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19.

On all jobs, including those from this new Tucson carpet cleaning location, Oxi Fresh operators are required to maintain social distancing, wear the proper personal protective equipment, and follow the CDC’s guidelines regarding hygiene and cleanliness.

“Oxi Fresh is synonymous with success in the carpet cleaning industry for a reason,” said John. “The brand’s innovative technology and proprietary cleaning methods are needed now more than ever. We are eager to utilize Oxi Fresh’s process and products to help Tucson residents create safer, cleaner home environments.”

Since 2006, Oxi Fresh has been a leader in the carpet cleaning industry. The brand’s proprietary, oxygenated cleaning process requires just two gallons of water to clean a home, while traditional steam cleaners use 40-60 gallons. Oxi Fresh’s process also allows carpets to dry in about an hour, which is far less than the 12-24 or more hours that other cleaners require. The brand estimates that its cleaning method has saved the planet tens of millions of gallons of water.

“We are proud to welcome Hunter to Oxi Fresh and look forward to him following in his parents’ footsteps,” stated Oxi Fresh CEO and founder Jonathan Barnett. “The O’Dowds understand the important services we provide to our customers and how they can help make homes safer and cleaner. We look forward to seeing the positive impact they will have on the Tucson community.”
