BrightStar Care Expands Footprint In Carroll and Frederick County

In-Home Care Franchise Opens New Location in Carroll and Frederick County To Provide High Quality Care To Those In Need

December 18, 2020 // Franchising.com // Frederick, MD - BrightStar Care, one of the nation's leading private duty home care and medical staffing franchise with more than 340 locations, announced the opening of its newest location in Carroll and Frederick County. The office will serve families from Westminster, Carroll County to Boonsboro, Washington County and the areas in between including Frederick, Middletown, Mount Airy, Hampstead, and Sykesville.

BrightStar Care of Carroll and Frederick County provides a higher standard of home care services, from personal and transitional care, Alzheimer’s and Dementia care, childcare, 24-hour live-in care and disability services.  From their industry-leading employee screening and training, to Registered Nurse (RN) oversight on every individualized plan of care, BrightStar Care is committed to supporting each and every one of their clients and families, so that they are able to maintain their independence in conjunction with also managing their unique age- and health-related challenges with ease.

The new location is owned by John Kraynak, who comes with a background in the aerospace and defense industry. As his experience was not within the health-related sector, he knew he didn’t want to start a business from scratch, so he looked to invest in trusted home care brand. John did his due diligence on researching a variety of different home care franchises and eventually narrowed it down to BrightStar Care. He was attracted to BrightStar Care because of the higher standard of care the brand provides to their clients, especially with the addition of having a Director of Nursing on each personalized care plan.

“My personal experiences with my parents and father-in-law led me to open a home care franchise,” said BrightStar Care franchise owner John Kraynak. “I personally saw how difficult it was to navigate finding the proper care and the toll it took on personal relationships. I witnessed family members stepping up to be caregivers even when they were not emotionally prepared or trained to do so and it eventually sparked my interest in becoming involved with BrightStar Care.”

“John’s background as an executive has set him up for success in being a leader and running a business successfully,” said Shelly Sun, CEO and founder of BrightStar Care. “I admire his determination for bringing this one-of-a-kind service to a community that he is so passionate about.”
