Nation’s Leading Wax-Only Salon Celebrates 30+ Signed Agreements in 2020 and Reveals Website Revamp

December 28, 2020 // Franchising.com // BOISE, Idaho - LunchboxWax enters 2021 with momentum after a successful year of new product launches, multi-unit signed agreements and new salon openings.

The brand announced that a total of 31 signed agreements were completed since March, adding 8 new franchisees to the team.

“Even though 2020 brought us challenges, our brand’s resilient business model and the hard work of our corporate team and franchisees truly got us through the worst,” said Christo Demetriades, COO of LunchboxWax. “During a time where many brands were tested, LunchboxWax continued to see growth and confidence from the 8 new franchisees that came on board. We are thankful for our guests and their continued support and also for our employees who kept operations moving forward. We look now to 2021 with optimism and the knowledge that our brand will continue to grow.”

Additional milestones for LunchboxWax included the launch of its first ever eyebrow line, dubbed DEFINE which went live in July and added to its retail offerings. The brand’s website also went through a makeover and redesign, making the platform more user-friendly. Another highlight for the brand was that it accomplished a YOY double-digit sales increase across its territories after salons re-opened, showing the business model’s resilience.

LunchboxWax also began to build and implement the “ramp up” salon prototype model. The design was successfully used in 2020 and validated the model’s effectiveness with a salon opening that occurred during the pandemic. In Coeur d'Alene, Idaho a location opened in July and has continued to exceed the expected milestones. While salon revenue and performance can vary, seeing the model thrive under extreme circumstances was a testament the LunchboxWax salon layout.

LunchboxWax salons offer a full range of hair removal services from top to toes, bottoms to brows and cheeks to chest. Using its proprietary three-step speed-waxing process, LunchboxWax has a “soft wax” technique that is more effective and less painful than traditional waxing. Franchisees take full control of owning their salon by hiring talented waxologists passionate about self-care and overseeing daily business operations to ensure exceptional service.
