Window World Supports Veterans with Launch of Thrilling Parachute Program

America’s Exterior Remodeling Franchise Partners with the All Veteran Group, Bringing Military-Style Air Demonstrations to Communities Nationwide

April 06, 2021 // Franchising.com // N. WILKESBORO, N.C. - The Window World Military Initiative is expanding its mission with the All Veteran Group (AVG) to launch the Window World Parachute Program. The program gives Window World store owners the opportunity to invite the AVG to perform an air demonstration and parachute into an event of their choosing, including home shows, fairs, athletic events and more.

The Window World Military Initiative defines Window World’s commitment to honor and serve America’s veterans, active military, and military families across the entire franchise system by focusing on three pillars: Careers, Community Outreach, and Partnerships. The AVG’s mission is to remember, honor and serve in support of veterans and their interests, and to showcase skills acquired through military experience.

Mike Elliott, founder of the AVG, retired from the U.S. Army after 25 impactful years, but that wasn’t the end of his commitment to service. Elliott has completed more than 15,000 free-fall parachute jumps, 5,500 of which were tandem jumps, including the honor of tandem parachuting with late President George H. W. Bush.

“I deeply appreciate Window World’s commitment to the military community,” says Mike. “Together, the AVG and Window World share a commitment to serve and respect veterans and highlight their talents. We have enjoyed a strong partnership since 2019, and we look forward to expanding our efforts with the Window World Parachute Program.”

As brand ambassadors for Window World, the AVG team will parachute into community events with Window World-branded gear. The thrilling nature of a military-style air demonstration drives interest in and appreciation for the U.S. Armed Forces while simultaneously creating buzz around the Window World brand through media coverage and community interest.

“We are all indebted to our nation’s service members and their families,” says Window World CEO and Chairman Tammy Whitworth. “While there is no measure of gratitude to repay them for their sacrifices, Window World strives to honor military families however we can. The Window World Parachute Program is an exciting way to showcase military skills, while letting communities we serve know that Window World cares for America’s veterans.”

After air demonstrations at an event are complete, members of the AVG will be present at Window World event tables and tents to hand out AVG Hero Cards and talk to attendees about the military, Window World’s Military Initiative and their experiences jumping out of planes.
