Sasquatch Strength Announces Partnership with Operation RSF

Seattle-based fitness concept joins forces with PTSD relief nonprofit

May 05, 2021 // Franchising.com // SEATTLE - Sasquatch Strength announced its partnership with Operation RSF to provide a community of support and accountability through their fitness programs for RSF referrals. The education-based fitness concept will have all four Washington locations, along with their upcoming Florida location be RSF affiliated studios.

“On behalf of Operation RSF, we are thrilled to start our partnership with Sasquatch Strength,” said Brian Thebaud, CEO of Operation RSF. “This partnership will further support our mission to help provide increased quality of life and PTSD relief through fitness. Sasquatch Strength has a community and educational based focus that we know will benefit our population.”

Operation RSF has an on-going mission to provide support, accountability and community to assist relief of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder symptoms through physical activity and exercise. The PTSD relief nonprofit focuses on helping vets engage in communities that provide them a support structure to help maintain motivation, drive and purpose. Operation RSF assists vets in developing routines that increase quality of life by living an active lifestyle. The nonprofit looks for fitness partnerships that believe in strength through community within their organizations.

“As a Veteran I couldn’t imagine a better partnership to help the other Veterans in our country,” said Zac Fry, General Manager and Coach at Sasquatch Strength Sammamish “From my own experience after leaving the military I used the gym as a healthy way to take away stress and clear my mind.”

“The Veteran community is just like any community and this partnership will benefit the Sasquatch Strength community greatly,” said Veteran Jon Dones, Coach at Sasquatch Strength Redmond “I am looking forward to seeing our two communities come together and support each other to further both our physical and mental strength.”

Sasquatch’s “purpose-based” programming focuses on educating and empowering members for life. As a truly functional program, the difficulty level of the daily workouts is designed to be increased or decreased, depending upon the individual. This makes them doable by anyone and creates a community of support and accountability where everyone feels welcome and safe. Daily workouts can include: core conditioning, rowing, sprinting, gymnastics, lifting, etc. And all the workouts are designed to improve overall flexibility, strength, speed, endurance and agility.

“We are looking forward to our new partnership with Operation RSF,” stated Isaac Vaisberg, Founder and CEO of Sasquatch Strength. “We understand the importance of providing a community that veterans with PTSD feel welcomed and supported in. We hope our partnership will continue Operation RSF’s mission to combat the stigma of mental health.”
