Buff City Soap Opens First Soap Makery in College Station

Experiential retailer continues expansion throughout Texas

June 23, 2021 // Franchising.com // COLLEGE STATION, TX - Buff City Soap - handmade retail franchise known for its plant based soap and body products made in-store daily - is opening its first College Station location. The new store will be located at 11667 FM 2154 Suite 600, next to H-E-B in Jones Crossing, and is slated to open June 24.

The first 50 people who visit the new College Station store Thursday, June 24 – Sunday, June 27, will receive free soap for a year. The College Station location is just the start of the brand’s expansion throughout central Texas.

“We are excited to continue our expansion in the Texas Hill Country and bring the Buff City Soap experience to College Station” said Regional General Manager Billy Perkins.

Founded in 2013, Buff City Soap has created a high-quality alternative to commercial soap products full of harsh chemicals, detergents, animal fats and sulfates. By giving customers the chance to see the whole making process live in each Soap Makery, Buff City Soap is disrupting the consumer goods industry by focusing on transparency of ingredients and process.

“As a Texas A&M University graduate I am thrilled to unveil Buff City Soap to local Aggies who are going to fall in love with the brand,” stated Perkins.

Each Buff City Soap store offers more than 30 unique and customizable scents across dozens of handcrafted soap products; including its famous soap bars, bath bombs, foaming hand soap and even laundry soap. The brand’s products are crafted by local artisans at the in-store Makeries, which allow guests to customize the scent and ingredients used in the process to create a unique scent profile.

The College Station store hours will be Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
