Allegra Toronto Downtown Ranked Gold as a Top Traditional Franchise

November 08, 2021 // Franchising.com // TORONTO - Allegra Toronto Downtown recently ranked Gold Status in Top Franchising Awards presented by the Canadian Franchise Association (CFA).

Every year, the Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) grants Recognition Awards, honoring individuals and top CFA franchise members for their outstanding achievements, philanthropic endeavors and contributions to the Canadian franchise community. These awards showcase those committed to enhancing franchising in Canada by growing together.

Allegra Toronto Downtown has been a member of CFA since 1996 and was nominated for the CFA Recognition Awards by multiple members of the Alliance Franchise Brand team. The nomination ultimately resulted in the printing and marketing solutions company taking home the Gold status ranking in the traditional franchise category, among 40,000 franchise business owners in 50 diverse industries across Canada.

“Our team is honored to be granted Gold Status for this award, among a great class of so many different franchise industries,” said Veronica D’Silva, VP of Operations for Allegra Toronto Downtown. “After such a tough year for so many, we feel very proud of our team members for putting in the extra mile, especially to help those in our community. This has ultimately driven Allegra of Toronto Downtown to come out of 2020 stronger than ever.”

Supporting the downtown community has always been at the forefront of Allegra’s business principles. In 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the centre donated 150,000 face shields to a local college and hospital, along with safety signage, including social distancing floor graphics and print services.

“We could not be prouder to nominate and commemorate Warren and Veronica D’Silva for this award,” said Burke Cueny, VP of Marketing for Alliance Franchise Brands. “Their drive to continuously provide excellent printing services and outstanding customer service to the Toronto community does not go unnoticed.”

After receiving this prestigious award, Allegra Toronto Downtown plans to continue to help the downtown Toronto community in the face of adversity. The new year holds a great opportunity for the marketing and print solutions company to adapt and innovate in order to meet changing client needs.
