Latest Signed Deal Bringing 15 More Dave’s Hot Chicken Locations to Illinois

April 12, 2022 // Franchising.com // CHICAGO - Dave’s Hot Chicken announced today it has inked a franchise agreement with brothers Rocco and Anthony Armocida to open 15 locations across the Northwest Chicagoland area.

“I fell in love with the quality, the spice customization and flavor profiles of the chicken and other delicious menu items right off the bat,” said Rocco Armocida.

The Armocidas have decades worth of experience owning and operating multiple franchise concepts under SDM Management. As a family business, the Armocidas will grow their Dave’s Hot Chicken restaurants with the help of their family members and dedicated employees, many of whom have been with the restaurant business for 20 years.

Founded by Arman Oganesyan and classically-trained chef Dave Kopushyan and two friends in early 2017, Dave’s Hot Chicken initially opened as a parking lot pop-up, with lines quickly wrapping around the block.

Specializing in hot chicken tenders and sliders, with spice levels ranging from “No Spice” to “Reaper,” each restaurant also serves sides of house-made Kale Slaw, creamy Mac & Cheese and crispy Fries or Cheese Fries.
