She has served as an elder care advisor, an in-home healthcare provider, participated in assisted living sales, and has personally managed several assisted living communities. Ryerson brings with her an impressive list of credentials and professional achievements. She earned her Certificate of Financial Planning through Georgetown University. In addition, she has a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing, an MBA with a concentration in Health Care Management, and is currently a doctoral student in Healthcare Administration. Ryerson also possesses an Assisted Living Manager Certificate in the state of Maryland and is a Certified Alzheimer’s Disease Dementia Trainer. In her personal life, she’s a proud single mother of three children, ages 14, 26 and 27. Her two oldest have earned doctorate degrees. She also has more than a few thrill-seeking hobbies, such as motorcycle riding, hiking, camping, skiing, gardening, and horseback riding.
