Regenerative Medicine Clinics Open in Portland Metro

October 17, 2022 // Franchising.com // TUALATIN, Ore. - QC Kinetix recently opened two new clinics in the Portland metro. They offer one of the most advanced regenerative medicine protocols in the area.

Medical Director Dean Wentworth, FNP-BC and Consult Coordinator Keith Lyons run clinics in Tualatin and Forest Heights.

Wentworth and Lyons both bring personal experience with regenerative medicine to the clinic. For Lyons, crippling chronic pain after a work-related injury pushed him to retire early and halted any enjoyment in his hobbies, including hiking, golfing, fishing, and camping. Lyons is now receiving treatment from the new clinics himself.

"I was losing sleep at night from the pain and couldn't enjoy the things I love because of the lack of mobility and functionality," says Lyons. "I found myself falling into a depression from it all. Today, I can relate to our patients personally and understand what they're going through. As consult coordinator, I hope to help them experience pain relief and recapture their lives."

Wentworth received regenerative medicine treatments decades ago while serving in the military. He saw the benefits of using his body’s own healing properties to return to duty with little downtime.

"Just like myself, so many Portland residents will benefit from these non-surgical treatments, from those who have retired to anyone enjoying an active lifestyle, as well as athletes and industry workers who can't afford a long surgery recovery," says Wentworth.

QC Kinetix uses all-natural biologic protocols to stimulate the body to repair or heal its own damaged tissues and joints. It's an alternative to surgery, NSAIDs, and pain pills that mask the pain but don't repair the problem. For patients seeking relief from pain due to musculoskeletal injury, chronic joint pain, or hip, knee, back, or shoulder pain, regenerative procedures are the next frontier for treatment.

Former Dallas Cowboys great and NFL MVP Emmitt Smith is the official spokesperson for QC Kinetix. He knows firsthand the need for innovative chronic pain treatments that help people get back to their active lifestyles. It used to be only elite athletes like Smith had access to regenerative medicine treatments, but growth and innovation in the field have made the treatments accessible to everyone.

"The body is designed to serve as its own pharmacy. From birth, it grows and repairs tissue. With these treatments, we can harvest the best of what the body produces and concentrate it in the areas of injuries so they can receive long-term healing," says Lyons.

Regenerative medicine can be used to address a wide variety of health conditions. Wentworth, Lyons, and their team are excited to begin providing hair restoration treatment options for men and women in the near future.

Scott Hoots, CEO of Charlotte-based QC Kinetix, is confident they will an asset to the QC Kinetix franchise.

"Dean Wentworth and Keith Lyons are an ideal QC Kinetix team," says Hoots. "Wentworth's medical expertise and both of their personal experiences with regenerative medicine make them perfect additions."
