Wings Etc. Welcomes Burnworth as VP of Marketing

November 10, 2022 // Franchising.com // FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Wings Etc. announced the addition of Katie Burnworth to the marketing team as Vice President of Marketing.

Burnworth will serve as the primary liaison for Wings Etc. national, regional, and local co-op marketing initiatives, media planning, and analysis. She will also be the primary liaison between the Wings Etc., Inc. marketing team and Wings Etc. franchisee owners. Burnworth will direct the marketing team projects, focusing on increased guest frequency, higher ticket averages, new guest prospecting, guest retention, and guest loyalty.

Chief Marketing Officer David Poncé. “Katie has had great success in her career and comes to us as someone who really understands franchise business owners in highly-competitive food service environments. She also understands their need to maximize local, regional, and national spending to get the most possible sales dollars out of those resources.”

Burnworth joins Wings Etc. with over 20 years of combined agency and corporate experience managing franchisees, clients, and agency relationships. Most recently, she was the Marketing Manager for Domino’s and spent a total of 14 years with the brand. At Domino’s, she served as the primary liaison for all local and national marketing programs. Prior to Domino’s, Burnworth worked at Asher Agency as an Account Supervisor for the Subway Restaurants client.

Burnworth is a 2002 graduate of Ball State University, where she gained her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with a minor in Communications. She is a Fort Wayne, Ind. native.
