Tim Hortons CMO Hope Bagozzi Recognized as One of the Most Influential Marketers in Franchising

November 17, 2022 // Franchising.com // TORONTO, Canada - Tim Hortons  is proud to recognize Chief Marketing Officer Hope Bagozzi who was just named one of the Top 50 Franchise CMOs Who Are Changing the Game by Entrepreneur.

“It’s truly an honor to be recognized with this achievement,” said Bagozzi, who joined Tim Hortons in 2020 and is a recipient of Cannes Lions, Effies, Cassies, Marketer of the Year and Best Executive awards.

“Tim Hortons is truly a special brand and the relationship we have with our guests is unlike anything else in the world.”

Bagozzi led Tims to build a partnership with global superstar Justin Bieber, a fellow Canadian who has often shared with his fans that he’s always been a lifelong fan of Tim Hortons.

“We developed a celebrity partnership that was truly unique in its authenticity and ability to drive brand buzz and sales, helping the [Tim Hortons] brand with a new, younger guest demographic,” said Bagozzi.

The marketing campaign for the first part of the partnership, Timbiebs, has won many awards, including two Cannes Lions prizes. Earlier this month, Bagozzi and her team also won several Effie Canada awards for the Timbiebs campaign including the top Grand Prix Best in Show award, a Gold Award for Influencer Marketing, and a Silver Award for Brand Integration and Entertainment Partnerships. Tim Hortons also took home the Marketer of the Year award.

“Hope and her team have focused on Tim Hortons’ ties to the thousands of communities they serve, prioritizing and highlighting the quality of ingredients and continuing to innovate with increasingly popular menu items,” said one of her peers in Bagozzi’s award announcement.
