American Freight Awards Location To Franchise Partners In Florida

January 26, 2023 // Franchising.com // DELAWARE, OHIO - American Freight Furniture, Mattress and Appliance, a leading national retailer offering in-store and online access to furniture, mattresses and appliances at discount prices, awarded a new location in Homestead, Florida. The deal will add to the company’s growing footprint of more than 360 stores across the U.S.

The new location will go to franchise partners Erik Sanchez and Yureisy Lugo. The husband and wife duo also own and operate Lumar Shoe Warehouse in Miami.

“We’re diversifying our business portfolio, all while establishing generational wealth for our two daughters,” said Sanchez. “We were attracted to American Freight’s semi-absentee model that allows us to be present at home while making passive income from our investment.”

Since launching the franchising model in 2021, American Freight has awarded 42 franchises to 11 franchise owners across the country.
