DALLAS, April 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Palm Beach Tan, the nation's largest chain of indoor tanning salons, continues its steady national expansion with the opening of four locations in the Richmond area within the past six months. The newest location, built on the company's flagship salon design platform, opened last week at 7274 Bell Creek Road, in Mechanicsville. With the opening of the four Richmond area locations, Palm Beach Tan now operates 266 locations in 23 states.
Part of the growth strategy for the chain has been to expand through the acquisition of quality local salons. Two of the new locations were acquired from local operator, Sun Salon, and a third, in the Midlothian area, from Tan Right.
