NEWINGTON, N.H., April 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Planet Fitness gyms nationwide donated $607,000 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® through a special promotion that took place from March 26th to April 4th.
For every new member who signed up at Planet Fitness, $10 was donated to BCRF. More than 320 Planet Fitness gyms participated in the promotion. During the sale, memberships cost just $10 down, and then $10 a month.
This is the third straight year that Planet Fitness has held a springtime promotion to benefit BCRF. In the three years, Planet Fitness has donated $1,199,522 to BCRF through the promotion.
