Our roots run deep in Latin America, where the first Campero restaurant opened in 1971. It was, and still is, a family business serving the best tasting chicken possible. When we opened our first US Campero location in LA, there were lines of people around the store, delighted to welcome their very own Campero restaurant. Today there are more than 300 Pollo Campero restaurants worldwide in 10 countries. Our expansion into new areas around the country will open up exciting new franchise investment frontiers for operators and investors.
Pollo Campero® Franchise investment opportunities are available for both individuals and corporate investors interested in purchasing development agreements for three or more restaurants. Becoming an owner and operator of Pollo Campero franchises allows you to join the established Pollo Campero brand.
Pollo Campero® candidates must meet the following qualifications to be considered for a franchise opportunity:
- The desire--and resources--to purchase a development opportunity of three or more Pollo Campero restaurants.
- A passion for and dedication to operations excellence.
- Clear understanding of the real estate development process particularly as it relates to the markets that they are developing.
- The ability to create and manage an organization that effectively recruits, trains, retains, and motivates people.
- Adequate capitalization to meet an aggressive development schedule.
- The ability to deliver a superlative customer experience.
- An understanding of the local "culture" and strong ties to the community.
Financial Requirements
Investing in a portfolio of Pollo Campero restaurant franchises require the capital to cover an array of costs. We set minimum financial requirements of $750K liquid assets and $1.5 mm net worth for ownership of restaurant franchises to ensure that a potential franchisee's business is not undercapitalized or overleveraged.
The prototype of our restaurant is 2,000 - 2,700 sq ft freestanding building with a drive thru in a mixed use, major tenant shopping center in areas of above average income and positive population trends.
