Film Features a Custom California Closets Design
SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Jan. 9 // PRNewswire // -- California Closets, the pioneer in customized storage solutions, today announced its promotional participation in the upcoming film comedy BRIDE WARS (bridewars.com), scheduled for release in theaters nationwide January 9, 2009. California Closets created a custom closet design that serves as a backdrop for a pivotal scene in the movie.
BRIDE WARS tells the story of two best friends, Liv (played by Kate Hudson) and Emma (played by Anne Hathaway) who have planned every detail of their respective weddings since childhood. At age 26, both women get engaged and begin helping each other execute their perfect plans for two incredible weddings at the famed Plaza Hotel in New York. When a clerical error results in both women being forced to marry on the same day, Liv, Emma and their lifelong friendship are put to the ultimate test.
During the film's production in Boston, California Closets worked with Fox 2000 Pictures to create a customized closet design for a very special scene. Before the wedding planning mayhem begins, Liv and Emma are standing in Liv's beautiful walk-in closet, courtesy of California Closets, when they both discover an engagement ring intended for Liv that her boyfriend and soon-to-be fiance, Daniel (Steve Howey), is hiding from her before he proposes.
